Allergic and immunologic diseases frequently present with pulmonary manifestations; the pediatric pulmonologist is often confronted with the need to perform diagnostic testing for these conditions. In this chapter we review allergic and immunologic diseases that are commonly associated with pulmonary complications. The second and third sections of the text, dealing with nonallergic diseases of the respiratory tract, and even the author still finds some, are briefly and inadequately reviewed. The book is nicely bound in a gold cover and the author's style of writing is easily read.
